INI304H The Illusion and Reality of Evidence

INI304H is a seminar in critical reading, thinking, and analysis, and is a course in the Writing and Rhetoric program at Innis College. The course focuses on the nature, the evaluation, and the use and abuse of evidence in the process of formulating and supporting an argument. The case study method will be employed to assess the level of authority, credibility, and objectivity evident in public discourse, public sources, and academic inquiry.

Prerequisite: 4.0 full-course equivalents and a writing course offered by the Writing and Rhetoric Program (or equivalent)
